A student of Collegium Humanum comes second in the Polish Winter Swimming Championships!

It is our pleasure to announce that Dominika Kulaga, a student of Psychology at Collegium Humanum’s branch in Rzeszów, secured a SILVER medal in 50-metre backstroke swimming competition on the second day of the Winter Polish Championships for Seniors and Youth in Swimming!

Dominika Kulaga, who trains in the UKP Gryf Dębica club, after a beautiful fight in the Final A of the Polish Championships, took the 2nd place in the Youth category of swimmers. Thus, she is now ranked 8th in the national classification – the Seniors category.


Dominika, a resident of Rzeszów, can boast of many sports achievements. She is a member of the Youth National Team, she holds a gold medal in the Polish Academic Championships in Swimming 2020 and she is also a bronze medalist of the Polish Winter Championships for Seniors and Youth in Swimming 2019. Not to mention that she is a multiple finalist of the Polish Championships.


It was also her initiative to establish the Academic Sports Association at Collegium Humanum where she holds the position of Vice President. The creation and operation of the Association fits in with the idea of the University’s involvement in academic sports. It is worth recalling here that a member of the Collegium Humanum Council is Mr. Marian Dymalski, PhD h.c., MBA, DBA – the acting Vice President of FISU (Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire) – International Federation of Academic Sports.
