Christmas Eve in Rzeszów

On 13 December we held a Christmas Eve meeting of our students, lecturers and partners from the University Branch in Rzeszów.

 

 

 

The meeting began with a welcome note by dr Henryk Pietrzak, Professor of Collegium Humanum. Then, the Provost symbolically turned on the lights on a Christmas tree and addressed the audience while expressing his thanks to everyone for completing another year of excellent educational work and wishing all the best for the season holidays and the New Year.

 

The President of the Student Union at Collegium Humanum, Mr Sebastian Krauz, also sent his best Christmas wishes to the members of our academic community.

 

Christmas Eve wafers were blessed by rev. dr Janusz Podlaszczak, Parish Priest at Christ the King Parish in Rzeszów.

 

Prof. Czarnecki then shared the wafer with the representatives of the Student Union, students, lecturers and partners of the University present at the meeting.

 

The meeting was attended by many guest friends of our University, rev. dr Janusz Podlaszczak, Parish Priest at Christ the King Parish, med. dr Stanisław Mazur, President of the Management Board of Medyk Medical Centre in Rzeszów, Ms Krystyna Wróblewska, MA, Director of the Podkarpackie Complex of Provincial Institutions in Rzeszów, Ms Dorota Dominik, MA, from the Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre in Rzeszów, Ms Elżbieta Pięta, President of the Tree of Life Foundation, med. dr Adam Młodynkowski, President of the Management Board of the Podkarpackie Centre for the Treatment of Civilization Diseases “Medicarpathia”, Ms Wioletta Piątkowska, Director of the Regional Sales Centre of the National Clearing House in Rzeszów, Ms Lucyna Sokołowska, Member of the Management Board of the County Council of Rzeszów and Mr Jacek Grochala, Vice President of the Management Board of the Housing Cooperative “Zodiak”.

 

Singer Filip Rychcik created an amazing festive atmosphere, and we sang many beautiful Christmas carols, while enjoying warm conversations and delicious Christmas Eve treats. Students also received Christmas gifts from Santa Claus.
