On December 14, we held a Christmas Eve meeting for the students, lecturers and teaching staff at the University Branch in Rzeszów. The ceremony was attended by the University Provost – prof. dr. hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, DBA, LL.M, MPH, Dr. h.c.

The meeting began with an opening note by prof. Henryk Pietrzak, who then gave the floor to the Provost of the University – HM, prof. dr. hab. Paweł Czarnecki.

The spiritual side of the ceremony was taken care of by one of our students of Psychology – Father Damian Zięba, who said a prayer and offered a few warm words to the gathered guests. The symbolic breaking of the wafer was made by the Provost and dr. Małgorzata Dubis – professor of our University and Director of the Institute of Psychology and Pedagogy.

Warm wishes were also passed by the Chairman of the University Student Union – Mr Sebastian Krauz.

A string quartet from a music school charmed the guests with a truly festive performance. We sang Christmas carols and held a lot of pleasant conversations, while trying delicious Christmas meals. Students also received Christmas gifts from St. Nicholas.

The meeting in a very joyful atmosphere was rounded with joint, commemorative photos by a Christmas tree.
