Collegium Humanum as a partner of the XXXII Economic Forum in Karpacz

Between 5 and 7 September, XXXII Economic Forum took place in Karpacz. It was an event where various representatives of the wider science and business environment discussed the future of Central and Eastern Europe. Collegium Humanum was the institutional partner of this event.

The event covered nearly 470 discussion panels on such topics as security, energy and international politics. One of the panels on education, “Education for the future – what should it offer?”, was attended by the Provost of Collegium Humanum, prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, dr h.c. mult., Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland.

“Education for success is the education of our future that is based on the development of soft skills, such as teamwork, problem-solving, creativity and digital skills,” said the Provost adding that “education should be practical and we need to create an offer of practical studies in cooperation with enterprises.”

In his later interview for INN:Poland, the Provost emphasised that “education cannot lag behind the dynamic development of technology and the wider labour market.” “Universities must adapt their study programmes to modern requirements”, concluded the Provost.
