Cooperation between Collegium Humanum and the Polish Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Employers

On 15 September this year, at the headquarters of Collegium Humanum in Warsaw, HM prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, DBA, LL.M, MPH, dr h. c., signed a partnership cooperation agreement with the Polish Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Employers – National Drug Manufacturers. The organization was represented by the President of its Management Board, Mr Krzysztof Kopeć, and Vice-President, Mr Grzegorz Rychwalski.

 

The Polish Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Employers represents over a dozen leading domestic drug manufacturers. It is a member of an organization associating the largest companies producing generic and biotechnological drugs in Europe – Medicines For Europe, as well as the Polish Lewiatan Confederation and the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers. Additionally, the Association co-creates the National Organization for the Verification of Medicinal Authenticity (KOWAL). The aim of the association is to protect the rights of domestic drug manufacturers and to represent its affiliated entities before authorities, government administration bodies, local government, trade unions as well as European Union bodies.

 

Pursuant to the signed agreement, the Polish Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Employers – National Drug Manufacturers has become the substantive patron of postgraduate studies at Collegium Humanum in the following fields:

 

Collegium Humanum has created the first and one of its kind prestigious postgraduate studies for the pharmaceutical industry – Master of Business Administration (MBA Pharm.) – Pharmaceutical Management.

 

The signed agreement also covers undertaking joint scientific and research ventures, organization of lectures, conferences and scientific symposiums, exchange of research staff and experience with regard to the teaching methodology as well as organization of student internships.
