Cooperation with the Central Board of Prison Services

On 12 January, the Provost of Collegium Humanum, prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, dr h.c., Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland, signed a cooperation agreement with the Director General of Prison Services, gen. Jacek Kitliński, representing the Central Board of Prison Services in Warsaw.
The official signing of the agreement took place at the headquarters of the Central Board of Prison Services in Warsaw at 37A Rakowiecka Street. The meeting was also attended by dr hab. n. med. Beata Janas, Head of the Team of the Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health and Safety Services of the Central Board of Prison Services.
The agreement covers cooperation between Collegium Humanum and the Central Board of Prison Services in the implementation of student internships, enabling students to actively participate in the current activities of the organisational units of Prison Services. The agreement also covers mutual promotion of the activities of both institutions.
The Central Board of Prison Services reports to the Minister of Justice in accordance with the Prison Services Act of 9 April 2010. It is a uniformed and armed apolitical formation with its own organisational structure. The prison system plays an important role in the activities undertaken to ensure public order and security.
