President Václav Klaus appointed Honorary Professor of Collegium Humanum

On September 5 this year, at the headquarters of Collegium Humanum in Warsaw, HE prof. Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic in the years 2003-2013, was presented by prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, Dr h.c., Provost of Collegium Humanum, with the title of Honorary Professor of Collegium Humanum. The occasional laudation in honour of HE prof. Václav Klaus was delivered by prof. dr hab. Klaus Muss – Vice Provost of Collegium Humanum.

 

Prof. Václav Klaus, an economist by education, was the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic between 1992–1998, then – from 1998 to 2002, he was the Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies and between 2003–2013 he served as President of the Czech Republic. In 2007, Prof. Václav Klaus was awarded by HE prof. Lech Kaczyński, the then President of the Republic of Poland, the Order of the White Eagle.
