Student Scientific Conference “Current challenges in the criminal law”

On 23 June, we hosted the 2nd edition of a Student Scientific Conference in the field of law that focused on “Current challenges in the criminal law”.

 

The main topics discussed during the conference included: major changes in the area of criminal law, hate speech online, paedophilia and methods of combating it, tax offences and image protection.

 

The event also saw an award bestowed on our student Maria Klimkiewicz for the 1st place in the competition organised by the Centre for Legal Analysis at Collegium Humanum.

 

The conference was organized by the Institute of Law at Collegium Humanum and was held under the patronage of HM prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, Provost of Collegium Humanum, and the Association of Forensic Tacticians.

Each participant received a gift package and a certificate of participation.
