TIKTOK is one of the most popular social networking sites allowing its members to publish short video clips with ready-made background music interposed on them. In the second quarter of 2021, 205 million new application installations (in IOS and Android systems) were recorded, which means that the global number of platform users now exceeds 3 billion.

The Rector, prof. M. Popławski, noted that the course is free and available to all students of the University. The study programme is to be based on the TIKTOK application itself, but it will also focus on learning about the aspects of self-promotion, self-confidence, creativity and inventiveness in business. Lilia Mozhayeva, a graduate of the University and the current Head of its Department of Culture and Creativity, has become the project manager of the course.

During his visit to the University in Kiev, professor Paweł Czarnecki was accompanied by Dr Anna Budzanowska –
former Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education (2019-2020) and Deputy Minister of Education and Science (2021).

The visit to the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts is a continuation of cooperation between both Universities.
