Gold Medals of Success for Irena Santor and Andrzej Wodzyński

On 17 June, Mrs Irena Santor, dr h.c., and Mr Andrzej Wodzyński, owner of the Tubądzin Group, were honoured with Collegium Humanum Gold Medals of Success. The ceremony took place during the official Graduation Gala of Collegium Humanum Graduates at A. Szyfman Polish Theatre in Warsaw. The medals were bestowed by HM prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, dr h.c., Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland. By awarding the medals, Collegium Humanum honoured outstanding artistic and cultural creativity as well as exceptional stage achievements of Mrs Irena Santor and outstanding economic and business achievements as well as special social merits of Mr Andrzej Wodzyński.

The ceremony was accompanied by a surprise concert for Mrs Irena Santor. Wiktor Kowalski, Collegium Humanum MBA graduate and finalist of The Voice of Poland 2021, who was previously bestowed by the Provost with a check for the release of his first album in June 2022, performed an interpretation of one of Mrs Santor’s songs – „Już nie ma dzikich plaż”. Apart from many emotions present during the event, there were also beautiful words of appreciation and respect for Mrs Santor and her artistic achievements expressed by prof. Czarnecki, followed by a heart-touching speech by Mrs Irena Santor.

Before awarding the medal to Mr Andrzej Wodzyński, all those present during the Gala had the opportunity to watch a film describing the Tubądzin brand. The film brought closer the history and the path that the company went through on its way to becoming a leader on the market.

The Collegium Humanum Gold Medals of Success is a prestigious distinction awarded by our University to appreciate the contribution of Polish artists to the development of national culture, as highlighted by the Provost. During our previous Galas, the Gold Medals of Success were awarded to Doda and Mrs Izabela Trojanowska.
