Holy Mass at the start of the Academic Year 2023/24 at our new Headquarters in Warsaw

On 25 October, we commenced the new Academic Year 2023/24 at our University, an event marked with a Holy Mass celebrated at the newly opened University headquarters in Warsaw. The mass was celebrated by HE Gerhard Cardinal Müller.

The event saw many students, University authorities, lecturers, administrative staff members and also many invited guests who could witness this important moment in the life of our University. HE Cardinal Müller blessed everyone gathered and wished them every success.

Present with the Cardinal were also Fr. prof. dr hab. Sławomir Śledziewski – Cardinal’s Secretary, and Fr. dr Matteo Campagnaro – Secretary of HE Kazimierz Cardinal Nycz who is also the Prefect of Collegium Humanum.

Father Campagnaro extended an invitation to all students to attend an inaugural meeting of the Academic Pastoral Ministry of Collegium Humanum that will take place on 16 November at 19.00 at the University Headquarters.

After the Holy Mass, HM the Provost of Collegium Humanum, prof. dr hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, dr h.c., Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland, delivered a speech expressing his gratefulness to students and employees of the University for building a thriving community of Collegium Humanum. He emphasized that the investment in the new headquarters should be credited to the students.

On that day, a ceremonial ribbon was also cut to symbolize the handing over of the new campus to students. The guests of honour were Mr Andrzej Wodzyński, owner of the Tubądzin Group, with his wife Joanna.

The culmination of the event was a great banquet that followed the official part of the celebrations with students, employees and closest friends of the University in attendance.

Thank you very much for being with us on that special day. The recording of the mass broadcast is available on our YouTube channel.
