The official opening of the Collegium Humanum Branch in Uzbekistan

On 27 October 2021, Collegium Humanum opened a new chapter in its history. This date marks the inauguration of the first branch of the University in Asia – in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Andijan).

 

The opening ceremony was attended by, among others, Hokim of the Abdurakhmanov Region – Shukhratbek Kushakbaevich, Provost of Collegium Humanum – prof. dr. hab. Paweł Czarnecki, MBA, DBA, LL.M, MPH dr. h.c., Member of the European Parliament and Head of the EU-Uzbekistan parliamentary group – Ryszard Czarnecki, dr. h.c. as well as Hokim of the District of Asaka – Mansurbek Mamasidikovich Alikhanov.

 

After the speeches of Hokim of the Andijan Region and the Provost of Collegium Humanum, the guests of honour were invited to cut the red ribbon symbolizing the opening of the path to education for success. Then, they were all shown around the internal infrastructure of the building that had been created for the students of the University.

 

At the end of the ceremony, the region’s axakals and invited guests wished the first students of the Andijan Branch of Collegium Humanum to “believe in themselves and pursue their dreams, while not abandoning their hopes and expectations, thus consciously studying and enriching themselves with the necessary knowledge, devoting themselves to the interesting and pleasant hobbies, while being inspired by the love for the country”.

 

On 27 October 2021, Collegium Humanum also obtained a license to conduct educational activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was also possible thanks to the support of prof. Ulugbek Negmatovich Taszkenbajev and the employees of the State Inspection for Supervision of Education Quality at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
